Avocado bread

My Avocado Bread is a great high-protein, low-carb option especially with the extra nutrients from the avocados. You can use a flat griddle to cook it or a mini-dash griddle for more perfect circles. Use it as sandwich bread or a hamburger bun or just eating it alongside your food or as a snack. Remember to add some pink salt on either side when you cook it to add some flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 beaten eggs

  • ¼ cup mashed avocado

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed

  • ½ cup almond flour

  • ¼ cup water

  • 3 pinches pink salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients and whisk until you have a smooth, lump-free mixture.

  2. Preheat a griddle or waffle maker and grease with avocado oil, coconut oil, or butter to prevent sticking.

  3. Pour a portion of the mixture and close the griddle or waffle maker for a few minutes, until golden on both sides.

  4. Repeat the previous step to make the remaining breads.

  5. Enjoy!
