Pork Loin with Garlic Butter

Ingredients

‍ 2 lbs pork loin

  • 1 ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tbsp dried basil

  • 1 ½ tsp pink salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 3 tbsp avocado oil

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

    Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.

  • Mix the spices: In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon of pink salt, ½ tablespoon of dried basil, 1 ½ teaspoons of dried oregano, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

  • Prep the meat: Poke the pork loin on both sides using a fork.

  • Season: Rub the spice mixture evenly onto both sides of the pork loin.

  • Make the garlic butter: Melt the butter in a cup in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then, mix in ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder.

  • Sear: Heat the avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the pork loin for 3 minutes on each side.

  • Bake: Remove the pork loin from the skillet and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.

  • Slice and serve: Slice into small medallions, pour the melted garlic butter over the top, and enjoy!
