Kaileileia’s Garlic Tortillas

Kaileileia’s Garlic Tortillas are absolutely delicious and perfect for scooping food or holding food on top. They’re simple enough to make as she created the recipe when she was less than 11 years old. You could also just use them as a snack, with meat and cheese, or eggs and bacon or sausage. So many options. 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese

  • 2 oz cream cheese

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon pink salt

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe cup, add the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese, and microwave for 50 seconds.

  2. Make sure to mix the cheeses well, then add the garlic powder and salt while continuing to stir.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a larger bowl, add the almond flour and the egg white, and mix thoroughly.

  4. Using your hands (or a tortilla press), form small tortillas and cook them on a griddle over medium heat for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
